At the end of September, Hintertux becomes a place of tradition, liveliness, and camaraderie. When the decorated cows return from the alpine pastures to the valley, music fills the air, and everyone celebrates together, the special atmosphere of the Hintertux Oktoberfest can be felt everywhere.

In 2026, the festival weekend will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hintertux near Tux. Experience the traditional cattle drive, Tyrolean customs, and a lively atmosphere in the festival tent—all set against the stunning fall scenery of the Tux Valley.
